Bibles For Prisons

Yearly Bible Requests

This year has started off with a huge demand for Bibles For Prisons and newly released Prisoners. Every year seems to have a theme of some sort.  Not that we pick one deliberately but it just seems like we start getting a crazy amount of requests from a particular region, country or sector of the population.  At one time it was Europe then for a few years it was Africa and one year there were weekly emails to send bibles to China.  For the last year of the Iraqi war it was Pakistan. While requests for study bibles to the Philippines has ranked high on our list for the last 3 years

This is our 10th year (9 officially) of sending out bibles.  Starting in year two, we received over 1 million requests for bibles.  Last year was no exception with the bulk of the requests coming in from the U.S, Africa and South America.

Types of Bibles For Prisons

By popular choice the requested bibles for prisons has been for the Giant Print NIV because they are easy to read and understand for both the new believer and for the one who is curious about the Faith. The best type of bibles to send for prisons is either paperback or one with a soft leather cover.  Hard-cover bibles are not allowed in most prisons but maybe used elsewhere.

The second most requested bible for prisons are Spanish NIV Paperback or soft leather.  Again easy to read and understand.  Also light-weight to ship when we send them to Mexico and countries further south.

Monthly Requests

Every month we receive thousands of bibles and we sincerely thank you all for your faithful efforts. This year we would like to continue the push to get bibles for prisons.  If you would be so kind to focus on sending giant print NIV bibles in both English and Spanish, we as well as the Prisoners would really appreciate it.  If you would like to send us a brand new case of bibles they maybe purchased at NIV Bibles For Prisons or you can click on the bible photos below.

Thanks

Robert & Theresa
